BeaverBoy Online is a small game run on our own server. We keep as little about you as we can, and we never sell it.

What we keep

• Your account: your username, your email address, and your password, which is stored scrambled (as an Argon2 hash) so nobody, including us, can read it.
• Your characters: their names, looks, stats, items, quests and where they are in the world, so you can carry on where you left off.
• Guilds and Star Tokens: which guild you're in, your Star Token balance, and any codes you've redeemed.
• Server logs: short technical records, such as when an account logs in and from which internet address, to keep the game running and stop cheating and abuse.

Chat goes from player to player through the server, but we don't save it.

Your email address

We use it only to send you a code to confirm it's yours, and to help you reset your password. No newsletters, and we never share it.

Payments

If you buy Star Tokens, you pay on a page run by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us or the game. We only keep a record of the purchase: which character it was for, how many Star Tokens, and whether it was paid.

Children

The game is made to be fun for all ages. We ask players under 18 to get a parent or guardian's permission before making an account or buying anything. Parents can contact us at any time to see or delete their child's account.

Seeing or deleting your information

You can delete your characters in the game, from the character list. To get a copy of what we keep about you, correct it, or delete your whole account, email us at sangstar@gmail.com from the address on your account.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
